For us, your confidentiality is important and we aproach it with a high level of responsibilty and transparency. We want to assure you that your data will be protect against unauthorised third parties.

1. Romanian Down Syndrome Federation is a Romanian NGO which is in charge with coordination of some associations at national level. Those associations’ scope is to improve general living standard of people afected by 21 Trisomy (Langdon Down Syndrome), people which posess Romanian citizenship.
2. We may collect, process, retine and utilize the following types of information:

When you registrate/logg in on our website:

• Name and family name;
• Your e-mail address;
• Your mobile phone number;
• Your message transmitted to us;
• Financial information – in case you donate money through our website.

When you navigate on our website:

• Information regarding your current and conected device, IP address, geografical location, device’s browser type and version;
• Navigation history including initial link on other’s websites, visit duration, which pages were visited and for how long and navigation ways patterns used on our website;
• General information about your visit which are generationg during your navigation, such as when and how often you are searching information on our website.

3. Why do we need those information and how we make use of them:

• On the legal basis of legitimate interest of RSDF aqired information may be utilised according to present confidentiality policy or in website pages for a better site administration, for its personalization to offer an optimised information in front of our visitors, for autorisation to provide sepecific services to interested parties, for report transsmisions to interested parites, for notifications, for messages and communications offered to interested parties, also for personalised answers via e-mail to specific questions and matters and last but not lest for information bulletin (only in case of asking), or terminate information transmission on express demand from you, for providing statistical information to third parties (without any possibility of specific identification of a particular person or organization based on provided information to above mentioned third parties), for keeping website security and preventing online fraud from third parties, for certification of terms and conditions and in any other legitimate scope.

4. For how long do we keep your data:

• Personal data contained in sent messages will be kept for one year from the last communication;
• Personal data contained in financial accounting documents will be kept 10 years according to provisions of art. 38 of Annex 1 of Order 2634 of 2015 regarding the financial accounting documents issued by the Ministry of Public Finance;
• Personal data contained in Newsletter will be kept as long as will be a continous communication, and upon request, they will be deleted once you unsubscribe;
• We will continue to keep your data in the following exceptional situations: whether current law expressly requires their preservation; if we consider that the documents may be relevant to ongoing or future legal proceedings and to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including the provision of information to third parties for the purpose of preventing fraud of any kind).

5. Personal data security:

• We will take reasonable organizational and technical measures to prevent the loss, ill-use or modification of your personal information;
• We will store all personal information on our servers, protected by passwords and firewalls;
• All electronic information regarding financial transactions fulfilled on our website will be secured by encryption technology;
• We have to inform you that transmission of any information on the Internet is usually insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of the data transmitted in this environment;
• The responsibility for keeping the password confidential lies entirely on you, we will never ask you for the password, except for the first login.

6. The privacy policy can be changed at any moment, depending on the new realities of the online environment and will be published on our website. Therefore, please periodically check the latest published version of the policy and make sure you understand the changes made. Upon request, we can send you a newsletter with the respective changes to your e-mail address.
7. Our website contains or will contain automatic redirect links (hyperlinks) to partners, sponsors, governmental and financial institutions. As we do not have any control over them, nor do we have any responsibility of any kind regarding the privacy policy of these above enumerated entities;
8. Your rights:

• You can request, at any moment in time, to provide you all information we have about you, if you wish to update or delete it, to restrict its processing and use. With the exception of the cases listed in art. 4 last paragraph, your request will be implemented upon request;
• You can ask us at any time to stop process your personal information for marketing purposes (but in order for us to be able to process them for marketing purposes, your express consent must be granted beforehand).

9. Our cookie policy:

• Our website uses cookies. These are two types of these: persistent (it is stored by the browser until the preset expiration date or until date it is deleted) and session (which expires when the browser is closed). We use these two types of cookies for the following purposes: to recognize a user when browsing the website, to improve the usability of the website, to analyze the use of the website, to improve its administration, to prevent fraud and to improve the security of the website , personalizing the website for each individual user and directing advertisements that may be of interest to the user, etc;
• Most browsers allow you to block some of cookies, but blocking all cookies will lead to a much reduced use of the website, certain functions on the website will not be able to work at all;
• Also, all cookies from the computer can be deleted, entering the "settings" section, but this will have a negative impact on how we use a certain website.
